Why Woburn
Rehab that treats the whole problem
One call, one assessment, one plan
A single phone assessment determines what level of care you need. Admissions coordinators handle insurance, logistics, and a bed for the same day.
Clinical depth, not a one-size program
A multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, psychiatric providers, and licensed therapists. CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, family therapy, and medication-assisted treatment when it fits.
A setting that lowers the bar to saying yes
Private modern rooms, chef-prepared meals, a gym, on-site spa services, and a recreation room. Cell phones allowed. Support animals welcome.
Insurance does the paying
We work with most major plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. Many clients pay little or nothing out of pocket. One call confirms your coverage before you commit to anything.
TREATMENT PROCESS
How rehab works at Woburn
Assessment and admission
A confidential phone assessment, a same-day insurance check, and a treatment recommendation. Whether you start in detox or go directly into residential care depends on your clinical needs, not a sales script.
Treatment
Physician-managed detox if you are physically dependent, followed by residential rehab: daily individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, and dual diagnosis treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other co-occurring conditions.
Continuing care
Discharge planning starts early. You leave with an aftercare plan that may include outpatient treatment, sober living, medication management, and alumni support, with a team that stays in contact.

BBB accredited business
Accredited by the Better Business Bureau for transparency and trusted business practices.

What rehab at Woburn feels like
Straight answers
Questions everyone asks first
What is the difference between detox and rehab?
Detox manages physical withdrawal and usually takes about a week. Rehab is the treatment that follows: therapy, psychiatric care, and skill building that address why you were using and how to stay stopped. Woburn provides both, so you move from one to the other without leaving.
How do I know which level of care I need?
You do not have to figure that out yourself. A confidential phone assessment with an admissions coordinator, followed by a clinical evaluation on arrival, determines whether you need medical detox first, residential rehab, or a different path. The recommendation is based on substance use history, withdrawal risk, mental health, and your living situation.
Does Woburn treat alcohol addiction as well as drugs?
Yes. Alcohol is one of the most common reasons people come to Woburn, and one of the most dangerous to quit alone. We treat alcohol, opioids (including fentanyl and heroin), benzodiazepines, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription medications, and other substances, along with co-occurring mental health conditions.
How much does rehab cost with insurance?
Insurance can cover up to 100% of the cost of treatment, depending on your plan. The fastest way to find out what your coverage looks like is to speak with our admissions team. They can verify your benefits in a few minutes and walk you through your options, with no obligation.
Can I choose to leave rehab early?
Treatment at Woburn is voluntary. You are never held against your will. If you are considering leaving early, your clinical team will talk it through with you and adjust your plan if something is not working. Most people who want to leave in the first few days are still in withdrawal or early recovery, and that feeling passes.
What is the success rate?
Any program quoting a single success percentage is oversimplifying. What we can tell you: completing treatment, addressing co-occurring mental health conditions, and following through on aftercare are the strongest predictors of long-term recovery, and Woburn is structured around all three. Ask admissions about outcomes and alumni engagement.
Do you treat professionals or people with careers to protect?
Yes. Many clients are working professionals, business owners, healthcare workers, and parents. Cell phones are allowed, confidentiality is protected under HIPAA and federal substance use treatment regulations, and we provide FMLA and leave documentation that does not disclose the nature of your care.
The hardest part is this call. We will handle everything after it.
One confidential conversation. No pressure, no judgment, just clear answers about coverage, cost, and what tomorrow could look like.
