Lara Logan, LMSW

Lara is a dedicated social worker with over 16 years experience in the helping profession. Lara specializes in helping individuals with substance abuse disorders and mental health diagnoses advocate for themselves. Lara utilizes therapeutic approaches such as trauma-informed CBT, strengths based motivational interviewing, DBT, and psychoeducation. Lara is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to people and their families.

Lara received her master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Texas A&M University-Commerce. While obtaining her MSW, Lara interned with Round Rock Independent School District (ISD) and subsequently worked for two years with Del Valle ISD in Texas as a school social worker. Lara spent 10 years working for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services working both at the abuse and neglect intake hotline as well as performing assessments and background checks for prospective foster parents. Lara moved to Massachusetts in 2022 where she worked as a clinician for the women’s prison MCI-Framingham. Lara actively participates in ongoing professional development and is committed to staying current with the latest research and best practices in the social work field.
