Once you leave treatment, the most diffiuclt part of your journey begins, and that's staying sober.
Recovery never ends.
At Woburn Addiction Treatment, we know that the transition from treatment to your daily routine is not an easy one and that is why the aftercare planning aspect is so crucial. Your treatment team will be there to guide you throughout treatment and you will work together to come up with an aftercare plan that is best for you. This is a key stage in recovery in order to prevent relapse and sustain order in each client’s life after they leave our care. Addiction is complex and our goal is to make your recovery as simple as possible through your individualized treatment plan at Woburn Addiction Treatment.
What do I do after I leave Woburn Addiction Treatment?
As part of the continuum of treatment, aftercare is an important part of the recovery process. Not only will our treatment team help individuals navigate their legal obligations but they will also address each individuals education, employment, living situation, relationships and any other aspect of their life that may impact their recovery.
Clients will be immersed in our job skills program to either transition back into a current job or to learn the necessary skills for a new one. This includes but is not limited to resume building and interview practice before job placement.
Living in a structured and stable environment after treatment can be critical to the success of your recovery. These arrangements can be made through one of our trusted sober living partners if deemed appropriate for the client.
The community aspect of aftercare entails the sense of love, hope, and belonging that comes from strong relationships. Through our alumni programs and support groups, we encourage you to build positive relationships throughout your recovery.
