Woburn Wellness Addiction Treatment is licensed in the State of Massachusetts by the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services to provide clinically managed holistic intensive alcohol and drug treatment programs. The team at our drug and alcohol treatment center near Waltham, MA, consists of clinical experts who provide a wealth of knowledge on breaking the “relapse cycle” that many people fall victim to.

The Woburn Wellness Addiction Treatment team works together to identify factors that contribute to an individual’s substance use history, so we can formulate a customized addiction treatment plan for each person. Jodi Tarantino, LICSW

Jodi Tarantino, LICSW

Executive Director

Jodi Tarantino, LICSW has worked in many facets of the substance abuse and mental health field over the past 20 years. Jodi’s experiences include child protection in New Hampshire, outpatient treatment in Lawrence and Worcester, family residential treatment in Leominster, residential treatment for Department of Youth Services-involved youth in Methuen, residential treatment for adult men and women in Westborough and as a licensing inspector for the Department of Public Health’s Substance Addiction Bureau in Central and Western Massachusetts. Jodi was also the host of the radio show and podcast Airing Addiction. She is passionate about ensuring all individuals are treated with compassion and given the opportunity to become the best versions of themselves. Jodi attended the University of New Hampshire with the intention of going into sports broadcasting, but during her sophomore year she got a job with Upward Bound that changed her life and propelled her in a different direction. Working with first-generation college-bound youth, Jodi recognized the strong impact substance abuse and un/under-treated mental health issues in the youth and their family members had on the students’ educational outcomes and dedicated herself to helping individuals and families overcome the barriers to leading their best lives. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in social work from UNH. Jodi brings her experiences, positive energy and hope to Woburn Wellness. Through diverse programming and individualized treatment, Jodi sees significant personal growth and recovery for individuals and family members receiving treatment through Woburn Wellness.
Casey Burke

Casey Burke

Director of Operations

Casey has seen both sides of addiction from his experience working in the field of substance use disorders and mental health treatment as well as from his own personal battle with addiction. In recovery himself, Casey has taken an active role in the community and is a strong advocate for those still suffering from substance use disorders. As Program Director, Casey oversees the day-to-day operations of the Woburn Wellness Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs and ensures that each individual’s needs are taken care of in a respectful and timely manner. He is always willing to meet individuals and families where they are at in their recovery process, all while making sure they have the resources needed for their aftercare plans to achieve long-term sobriety. Casey’s perspective comes from the point of view of someone who has been through the addiction and recovery processes, which allows him to relate to individuals in treatment on a personal level. Casey uses this as the building block for him to establish a foundation of relatability, connection, experience, and trust with all who enter treatment.
Inessa Maloney

Inessa Maloney

LMHC Clinical Director

Inessa Maloney, MS, LMHC has worked in the mental health and substance abuse field for ten years. Her experiences include community outreach , intensive case management, crisis intervention, family intervention support, outpatient services with focus on substance abuse and more recently, residential treatment; however, Inessa’s passion and experiences remain within outpatient services. Inessa remains passionate about implementing treatment by utilizing approaches such as reality based therapy, solution focused techniques, psycho-education, CBT/DBT and motivational interviewing while remaining trauma informed. Inessa is a strong advocate for family involvement during treatment and collaboration with outside supporters as she believes “The opposite of addiction is connection”. Inessa attended Middlesex Community College in which she was awarded an Associate’s Degree then moved forward to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology & Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell which provided her with the opportunity to achieve her own personal milestone; her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Inessa brings forth her experiences with various treatment modalities and perspectives of substance abuse and the effects on individuals and family members through accountability, personal responsibility, empowerment, encouragement and hope to Woburn Wellness.
Annmarie DeCotis

Coming from a place of hopelessness, homelessness and defeat while also using the power of gratitude, humility and strength; Annmarie DeCotis has maintained over 5 years free of her own substance abuse struggles from a 20-year addiction to substances that stemmed from trauma, loss and grief. While remaining aware daily of her own recovery, Annmarie has also developed a career and passion in the field of substance abuse by providing compassionate support and services in various levels of care which include detox, CSS and currently her personal achievement as Program Director of PHP/IOP level of care.
Jennifer Ansted

Jennifer Ansted

Jennifer has a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Drama Therapy from Lesley University. Jennifer previously interned with 2nd Act and facilitated drama therapy workshops across New England which provided education about the opioid epidemic, focused on harm reduction, and sought to end the stigma surrounding substance use disorder. This ignited a passion in Jennifer for working in addiction recovery. Prior to her work in mental health, Jennifer was a middle school teacher. At Woburn Wellness, Jennifer brings her unique experiences as a mental health professional, drama therapist, and former educator to her group and individual therapy sessions. Jennifer takes a client-centered approach to the therapeutic process and uses a combination of techniques that are catered to each individual’s needs. This includes a variety of CBT, DBT, and expressive therapy approaches. She is passionate about helping clients find what will make them feel fulfilled and empowered in their long-term recovery.
Lyndsay Coombs

Lyndsay Coombs

Lyndsay Coombs, MS currently holds a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Merrimack College. Lyndsay has worked in various facets in the mental health and substance abuse field over the past six years of her career with gained experiences in crisis management, inpatient/outpatient treatment, medication assisted treatment and the Department of Corrections. Lyndsay’s clinical approaches are both relational in style and goal-oriented in terms of treatment planning and working towards the most suitable and realistic way in assisting clients with their own personal growth and success. As a therapist, she guides her clients to seek awareness, build and implement effective coping skills and healthy habits around navigating the complexities of everyday life. Lyndsay believes that through her clinical approaches it is possible to combat addiction by re-creating “your story and recovering your life’s purpose through using a new lens through external supports.”
Kayla Lopez

Kayla has received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire. While obtaining her MSW, Kayla interned for a Substance Use Disorder treatment facility where she experienced first hand positive change through the incorporation of co-occurring disorders in addiction treatment. With diverse experience within the social services system such as family services, behavioral health, mental health and within the education system, Kayla presents a continued passion for supporting individuals to achieve positive change in all walks of life. Kayla’s approach is driven by the practice of encouraging empowerment by working collaboratively with clients to build a strong sense of self and strengthen each individual’s network of support. Kayla is dedicated and determined to helping people advocate for themselves by informing individuals of the complexity of struggling with and healing from addiction by utilizing approaches such as trauma-informed CBT, psychoeducation, strengths-based motivational interviewing and DBT.

Case Manager

Olivia brings a unique perspective to the team at Woburn Wellness. She has experienced addiction on many fronts; growing up in an addict household as well as her firsthand experience with the disease of addiction. Finding recovery herself, she has turned her attention to helping others. As case manager at Woburn Wellness, Olivia is experienced at helping clients deal with apparent obstacles to receiving quality treatment for their substance use disorder. An active member of the recovery community, Olivia looks forward to meeting each client where they are at as she assists them with their case management needs and facilitating aftercare services.

Juan has dedicated much of his time serving the needs of others in their battle against substance addiction and mental health struggles. His story is truly an astounding one, with experiences that have enabled Juan to triumph after tragedy. Following his lengthy battle with substance addiction, he has now devoted his life to giving back the gift that was so freely given to him. Ever since the day he found recovery, Juan has worked ceaselessly to put a dent into the ever-growing epidemic of substance addiction by working in treatment facilities, speaking at community events and through one-on-one sponsorship with fellow drug addicts and alcoholics. Juan’s engaging, positive attitude, and outgoing personality make rapport-building easy as Juan works to assist others on their recovery journey.

Pierce Aliberti has been immersed in the substance use disorder industry for over four and half years. Once a patient himself, Pierce is also the co-founder of Dean’s House of Recovery and a recovery advocate who participates in multiple community task forces to combat the current opioid epidemic. Pierce’s extensive knowledge and experience has afforded him the ability to analyze situations and take necessary actions to provide crisis intervention and develop treatment plans to meet the needs and goals of each client. He is responsible for the direction and oversight of the daily operations of Woburn Wellness and all of its surrounding responsibilities. Pierce’s passion for helping others allows him to truly relate to each patient while delivering the highest level of care so you and/or your loved one can also be on their way to recovery.

Mark Macaluso, a New Jersey native, has six years experience in the behavioral healthcare field. A man in long term recovery, Mark found his passion for helping others over the course of his first few months in sobriety. Mark has experience as a behavioral health technician , admissions manager, alumni director, business development representative, and business development manager. He brings his years of experience along with his passion for battling on the front lines of the opioid epidemic to our illustrious team.
